What to Bring

A few common sense suggestions:

  • A cell phone for emergencies (recommended but not required)
  • Your bike and helmet or walking shoes
  • Extra snacks if you have allergies or food sensitivities
  • Your own water bottle
  • Warm layers with moisture-repelling clothing. Early October weather can be cool, with rain and wind. The weather might also be gorgeous and sunny. So be sure to keep your eye on the forecast.
  • A passion for the charity you're fundraising for!

About Perch for Women

Perch For Women is a safe and supportive ‘landing place’ for women to heal and regain hope, finding emotional safety, understanding and encouragement in the context of God’s love. It offers a peaceful place to find emotional rest, fostering healing, personal growth and resilience. Here women are supported in overcoming challenges, processing trauma, and discovering hope and purpose for their future, all while ensuring their privacy and well-being are considered. All of the services curated by Perch are intentional and therapeutically designed towards transformative living without a time limit and for little to no cost.

We journey with women of all ages through fragile seasons of life toward greater wholeness, finding safety to heal, truthful perspective and belonging in community, to navigate life with more hope and strength without judgment. Women are empowered to live fulfilled, strong and purposeful lives, enabling them to positively impact those around them for generations to come.

We are a volunteer-based ministry driven by love, welcoming women as they are when they are ready. We are growing together, practicing being authentic community on the journey together.
