About Peel Learning Foundation

The Peel Learning Foundation supports Peel District School Board students in Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon who are experiencing financial hardship. Every day, students come to school hungry because there is no food in their fridge, they come to school cold because they do not have a winter coat, or they miss school altogether, because they cannot afford a bus pass.

When you walk and fundraise with RIDE, you make it possible for PDSB students to access food, clothing, hygiene products, school supplies and other essentials.

Every step you take and every dollar you raise stays right here in Peel to support your neighbours in need.

Join us October 3rd—sign up, start a team, and ride + walk with us to bring hope to PDSB students in need.

A few common sense suggestions:

  • A cell phone for emergencies (recommended but not required)
  • Your walking shoes
  • Extra snacks if you have allergies or food sensitivities
  • Your own water bottle
  • Warm layers with moisture-repelling clothing. Early October weather can be cool, with rain and wind. The weather might also be gorgeous and sunny. So be sure to keep your eye on the forecast.
