What moves you? Join us on October 5, 2019 for the Ride for Refuge, a family-friendly cycling and walking fundraiser that supports charities who provide refuge and hope for displaced, vulnerable and exploited people everywhere.

About Rising Above

Rising Above seeks to bring healing to this land; to educate, equip and empower Indigenous people in Canada to rise above their pain to experience life, identity and purpose in Christ as they were created to.

The Ride For Refuge is Rising Above's biggest fundraiser. This year, the proceeds from the Ride will support programs that bring emotional healing to issues such as sexual abuse, generational impacts of Indian Residential Schools and grief. A program targeted specifically for Indigenous youth seeks to develop character, skills and leadership.
