About Liberty Lane Inc.

Liberty Lane Inc. is a charitable organization located in Fredericton, New Brunswick that offers Second Stage Housing to female identified individuals (and their children) who have left family violence or abuse, and Domestic Violence Outreach services to people of all gender identities who may be dating, residing with or have left a violent or abusive relationship, or have questions about their relationship.

Our child and youth program, also educates children and youth on healthy and unhealthy relationships, and helps them develop healthy relationships, social skills, emotional regulation skills, resilience and general well-being.

Our goal is to enable individuals (and their children) who have experienced domestic violence to attain personal and economic independence and a future free of violence.

About Youth in Transition

Youth In Transition addresses the needs of at-risk or homeless youth by offering supportive, transitional living housing in conjunction with a life skills program aimed at increasing their self-esteem and independent living skills.

Our residence, Chrysalis House, is a place where personal safety and accessibility to employment, education, and health care are met within a nurturing family-like setting. By modelling a stable home setting where each individual is treated with dignity and respect, Youth In Transition is attempting to prepare youth for all aspects of independent living.

A few common sense suggestions:

  • A cell phone for emergencies (recommended but not required)
  • Your bike and helmet or walking shoes
  • Extra snacks if you have allergies or food sensitivities
  • Your own water bottle
  • Warm layers with moisture-repelling clothing. Early October weather can be cool, with rain and wind. The weather might also be gorgeous and sunny. So be sure to keep your eye on the forecast.
  • A passion for the charity you're walking and fundraising for!

Handling Money

  • Credit Card: The Best Option! Simple, secure, automatically tax receipted for gifts of $20+. Visit the Donate page, share your personal page link, or have your donor call the RIDE Head Office.
