  • A cell phone for emergencies (recommended but not required)
  • Your bike and helmet or walking shoes
  • Extra snacks if you have allergies or food sensitivities
  • Your own water bottle
  • Warm layers with moisture-repelling clothing. Early October weather can be cool, with rain and wind. The weather might also be gorgeous and sunny. So be sure to keep your eye on the forecast.

About Serving South Sudan

Make a difference for South Sudanese refugees, who are more vulnerable now than ever!

There are 1.3 million South Sudanese refugees along the northern border of Uganda due to the war & atrocities that have been taking place in their home country.

Serving South Sudan works with trusted national pastors within the refugee settlements. The main focus is a church planting training that promotes sustainable development to grassroots communities.

Of course the effects of the pandemic have hit the refugee settlements as well. Now those who have been suffering are at an even greater risk.

Would you join the Serving South Sudan team in bringing much needed training and help to some of the most vulnerable refugees in their settlements?

You can make a difference! Let's Ride!
