With Teams in: Moncton
What moves you? Join us on October 5, 2019 for the Ride for Refuge, a family-friendly cycling and walking fundraiser that supports charities who provide refuge and hope for displaced, vulnerable and exploited people everywhere.
What Kids Need Moncton is dedicated to creating positive change for families in our community. Our focus is on both identifying and filling gaps in the system, as well as developing innovative ways to bring about the systemic changes needed to eliminate these gaps entirely. Our goal is the eradication and prevention of homelessness and poverty for families in the Greater Moncton area.
Last year alone, we were able to provide Christmas presents to 971 children through our Annual Snowflake Station Initiative, as well as help hundreds of children with essentials such as clothing and baby items. What Kids Need Moncton is also part of Feed the Community (with our sister organization, The Humanity Project). This program provides meals to an average of 150 people per day, 7 days a week. Through our partnership with the social workers at both local hospitals for our Baby Basket Program, we are able to ensure that vulnerable moms have everything they need when they take their baby home.
