About The Cridge Centre for the Family

The Cridge Centre for the Family has supported vulnerable individuals and families in Victoria since 1873. Today our services include

  • child care,
  • affordable & supportive housing for families in economic or relationship crisis,
  • emergency shelter and support for women and children escaping relationship abuse,
  • respite and Respitality services for families of children with special needs,
  • residential and community services for survivors of brain injuries,
  • support for young parents and
  • Seniors’ Assisted Living Housing.

What unites these diverse services is a commitment to manifest the Love of Jesus Christ to those in need.


As the Host Partners for the first Victoria Ride for Refuge, The Cridge Centre for the Family is proud to bring this fun and inclusive event to our community. By riding with or otherwise supporting us today, you help us bring hope, safety, and community to those who need it most.
