Crossroads Relief and Development takes part in several initiatives which focus specifically on rescuing and empowering the next generation of children. As children are a vulnerable demographic, we must acknowledge the precarious situations of children around the world, and access to clean drinking water is one of them.
Every 90 seconds a child dies from a water borne disease such as dysentery and cholera. Water is the world’s most precious resource and yet 1 in 10 people lack access to safe drinking water.
No other humanitarian response can have as much of an impact as access to clean water. A lack of access to water can also result in hunger and starvation. Without water, crops can’t grow and families don’t eat.
Please join us on Oct 1st as we ride to help save the lives of children living in Uganda, Kenya and Haiti!
