Since 1989, oneROOF Youth Services has been committed to providing for the safety, support, and overall wellbeing of youth who are homeless or at risk aged 12-25, in Waterloo Region.
Our objective is to maintain the health/safety of youth who are homeless or at risk by providing resources/services that will allow them to make positive choices to end the cycle of homelessness.
Our programs/services are based on unconditional, positive regard and harm reduction strategies.
In 2015, oneROOF Youth Services worked with 989 youth, and provided: over 21,000 meals and 1,755 food hampers to this vulnerable population; as well as over 5,200 bed nights (Shelter).
oneROOF Youth Services also provides support via Outreach Services, a Family Reconnect Worker, Housing Support Worker. Programs and services are geared to assist with the building of Life Skills, provision of Crisis Counselling, Individual Support, Referrals and more.
