What moves you? Join us on October 5, 2019 for the Ride for Refuge, a family-friendly cycling and walking fundraiser that supports charities who provide refuge and hope for displaced, vulnerable and exploited people everywhere.
When you Ride for Mercy, you support Mercy Canada’s residential program for young women who struggle with life-controlling issues, such as eating disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol addictions, physical and sexual abuse, depression, unplanned pregnancies, and sex trafficking. Our residential program is voluntary, Christ centred, and completely free of charge to young women ages 19-30 across Canada. It lasts approximately 6-9 months and is designed to address the whole person—spirit, mind, and body.
Everyone rides for different reasons, but our goal is the same: to see young women experience hope and freedom. Will you join us?
We encourage a personal fundraising goal of $250. While our program is free of charge to the young women we serve, our financial resources depend on the support of friends of Mercy.
