Middle East Christian Outreach Canada (MECO Canada) was founded in 1976. We assist churches of all denominations in both the Middle East and in Canada, as they serve Middle Eastern people.
Funds raised in this year's Ride will assist churches and ministries reaching out to refugee families.
The Syrian Refugee Project will provide much needed financial assistance to Mississauga and Brampton churches and two non- profit ministries, one in Mississauga and one in Burlington, that are helping 170 government sponsored Syrian refugee families. The volunteers provide refugees with transportation to appointments, programs and outings for parents and children, regular visitation for those who are lonely and help with expenditures not covered by government support.
Since 1998, the African Hope Learning Centre in Egypt has been educating refugee children from countries like Sudan. Until the centre was established by a church in Cairo, refugee children had little hope of obtaining an
