For over 40 years, International Needs Canada has been working to free children, their families and communities from the damage and cruelty of civil strife, poverty and disease. Our ultimate goal is to tell the story of Jesus Christ in word and deed.
The Drop-In Centre for child labourers is located in the heart of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The children are employed in factories, street sellers, and girls often work as house maids. They don't have a place to call home and many don't have parents.
The Drop-In Centre provides refuge for a few hours a day where they are fed, take showers, and are taught the basics of reading, writing and arithmatic.
The goal is to bring these children out of labour situations into one of the children's villages in Bangladesh where they can live lives as God intended.
Please join us on Ride for Refuge so that children have opportunity to be children and end the cycle of poverty! Ride with us and make a difference.
