About Healing at the Wounding Place

Healing at the Wounding Place exists to catalyze conversations and action for healing and justice between churches and local Indigenous communities in western Canada. We do this through local leaning/education events that inform and direct action for healing and justice between neighbours. We recognize that the church has been a primary site of wounding in the historic and ongoing relationship with Indigenous Peoples in this country. Settler communities of faith want to participate in real and substantive action to see that pattern of harm stopped and healing and justice begin.
