Transforming lives, two generations at a time!
Elizabeth House is a life skills program and family-oriented home which welcomes in pregnant and parenting youth who need a safe place to live. We provide shelter to those who have no where to go, guidance to those who have had very little direction, and love to those who quite often need it the most.
Living here represents great opportunity for displaced youth to work towards brighter futures by:
• Developing vital skills in parenting and attachment, household expenses and management, plus healthy relationships and well being;
• Connecting with valuable community resources and creating external supports;
• Pursuing further education or job skills training;
• Contributing to a savings plan earmarked for move out expenses.
As a non-denominational program of the RC Diocese of Calgary, Elizabeth House serves women between the ages of 16-24 years.
Come help build resiliency in young families facing adversity. Join us today!
