About Burnside Gorge Community Association

The Burnside Gorge Community Association provides a range of high quality programs and supports that strengthen the lives of children, youth and families throughout the Capital Region. Programming includes: childcare programs for ages 3.5 to 11; community and school based youth & family services; housing and asset development supports for vulnerable youth and families; community recreation and special events for all ages; and a variety of community development initiatives.

Our 2017 Ride for Refuge Campaign will raise funds to help with the purchase of furniture and equipment essential to the provision of programs and services to children, youth and families. Creating warm and welcoming spaces goes a long way to making people feel safe in our Centre.

A portion of funds raised will also go to support asset development programs for low income families and vulnerable youth. These programs help people overcome financial barriers while building self-reliance and financial literacy skills.
